Player Health Screenings
Prevention and wellness services for former players
Prevention and early detection of problems is key to maintaining good health. To protect the health of retired players, the NFL Player Care Foundation offers a series of free screenings for cardiovascular and prostate health—care that's especially important to men as they get older. These screenings are held across the country to help prevent or treat health conditions before they develop or worsen. Conducted through partnerships with Cleveland Clinic and the Satcher Health Leadership Institute, this free national screening program is open to all former NFL players and includes a series of private and confidential cardiovascular and prostate screenings and mental health resources and education.
